SFU 2004 Convocation Pictures

It’s been less than a week since the last picture gallery, and already, another is ready to go.

We were fortunate enought to have beautiful weather during the BBA convocation ceremony – and that great weather translated into some great pictures.

If you’re wondering why I’m only convocating now in May, after finishing my courses so long ago – it has been because of my employment at the school. I was able to take advantage of some fringe benefits that would have been denied if I had applied earlier (free gym membership, cheaper parking, -just little things). But those benefits have finally been outweighed by the feeling satisfaction that comes with sealing the deal.

Postponing convocation worked out well for another reason – Being able to graduate with so many great friends. In addition to all the people I’ve met up here, there was a surprising number of grads from the old highschool – Burnaby Central disproportionately had at least 5 bba grads within this ceremony alone.

Before Friday, I wasn’t feeling too excited about the event (primarily because I was focussed on the CFA exam on Saturday morning) – but after sitting through and having family/friends together I definately appreciate it all.

Congratulations to all the Grads of 2004 – I look forward to seeing big things from you!
