Visiting Friends and Z4 Review
Taking a brake from some reading now, and I decided to do a little post. It’s quite a beautiful day today, although a bit cold for my tastes.
First order of the day – I’ve got a new icon! To see it, you’ve got to add this site to your favorites (You can do it by clicking hereNext, look the URL above, and it will have a little icon that says “Sim”- muahahhaa
I’ve recently had the chance to catch up with a couple of my friends who have decided to pursue their academic and athletic interests south of the border. First up is a silky fine lady known by the name of Nat. The US is lucky to have somebody of her caliber down there! Hopefully Nat will be establishing her online presence soon- keep your eyes open… (it might cost you though).

Also, there is our good friend Harland. Harland generally likes to keep a low profile, but believe you me; he will not hesitate to let the ladies feel his presence- hahahahah- After much discussion, we’ve come to the conclusion that Harland’s immediate goal should be get his numbers up to Sungy’s level (you can worry about the big dogs later).

Final item of the day is this website’s fist auto review! I recently got my hands on a brand new BMW Z4 3.0, and I’d like to report my initial driving impressions:
• The steering was tight and provided a lot of feedback. Much more feedback than the new 3-series coupes I’ve driven. Very nice indeed.
• Build Quality seemed to exceed the Mercedes SLK substantially. When I drove SLK, it felt like I was sitting in a little metal eggshell. The seats in the benz felt flimsy and the interior plastic felt cheap (it was one of the earlier models though). The Beamer seemed very solid in comparison.
• The front grill takes getting used too. I didn’t initially like the way the front grill dips beneath the hoodline, and I still generally feel that way. I have however warmed a bit to it- it is no longer such an issue when I see the car. Some people don’t like the rear of the car, but I like it.
• The Top goes up really quick- I was surprised that it takes only about 6 secs (estimate).
• The engine (225 horsepower 3.0 inline six) is cash money. Same good old engine that has been used in the 3 and 5 series.
• Overall I was quite pleased, but I didn’t have to pay the ~$65,000CDN price tag that comes along with the car.
